MISSION STATEMENT

Passion filled commitment to empower youth spiritually with biblical principles and lessons that

reinforce affirmative resources that promote positive development that encourages them to reach

their full potential.

VISION

To develop a vital youth ministry that is inspired by God and reaches the attention of young

people, through spiritual principles displayed in creative ways. To provide an atmosphere that

will assist youth to grow spiritually, academically and encourages positive individual self-

growth.

We understand that kids need guidance and support as they develop, which is why we’re excited to offer a variety of mentoring groups programs.

MEETING TIMES

Nursery Ministry: Cultivates & guides young hands that are destined for greatness with integrity & love within a multi-cultural, bible based, spirit filled environment. Provides an atmosphere conducive to learning to promotes spiritual & academic development for little ones ages 3 to 6.

Children’s Ministry: Establishes a strong identity in Christ for children Grades 2 through 6, providing an environment where children will develop a heart for God, & willing hands for Christian service by:

• Winning Children to Christ

• Teaching God’s Word

• Building Supportive Relationships

• Encouraging Christian Service

• Promoting Family Values

Youth Ministry: Assisting young people grades 7 through 12 in developing a love for the Word of God, to establish a consistent prayer life, to elevate their level of praise & worship, & to evangelize families, friend, communities, by applying biblical principles to everyday life. Providing an atmosphere conducive to learning that promotes spiritual & academic development by:

Creating a place of praise, worship, & prayer
Providing an atmosphere for young people to passionately pursuing God
Equipping young people to share the gospel
Mentoring & discipline young people, making them disciples

Emphasizing the Importance of Family

Boyz 2 Men & Girls 2 Women & Girls of Grace : Educating youth through adult Mentorship for all youth (boys 5-18, girls 5-9 and 10-18). Equipping them to make positive decisions, through -Character Building, Goal Setting, & Life Skills. Empowering them Spiritually to build Meaningful & Productive Lives. The core elements are:

Increased awareness of the presence of God
Imparting Godly principles
Increased interest & capacity for participation in school & other activities;
Improved relationships with family members & more constructive behavior at home;
Improved decision-making & better choices regarding drug use, violence, & other destructive behaviors; along with Cultural Awareness
Better understanding of their emotions and its impact on their lives
Increased concern for community
